About

Our Mission
This activity is designed for medical oncologists, hematologists, and other health care providers involved in the management of patients with multiple myeloma and other solid tumors such as breast, lung, and prostate cancer.

The goals of this activity are to increase awareness among the participants about:

  1. The importance of monitoring bone health in patients with bone metastases being treated with chemotherapy agents
  2. The existing options to appropriately treat bone loss as a result of recurring chemotherapy treatment

This type of community-based forum allows for online collaborative education and learning. Health care providers benefit from this type of education because materials can be viewed on their own time, and they have the ability to share knowledge and ideas with others from the oncology community.

This online forum creates a sense of belonging, further enhancing the desire to participate and learn.

Thank you for your participation and comments. Your knowledge and feedback provided on this forum will ultimately help to increase patient care.
